Having missed the last 2 epic days, went down hoping the forcast was right that the sun would come out bout 3ish & hopefully the wind might hold.
Weston seems to have turned into a Kiters paradise!
I was the the 1st on followed by 8 kiters & not a windsurfer in sight, so i spent 30mins just sailing as much upwind out into the channel as i could,as there wasnt any waves worth playing around on on the beach & doing a slalom between all the kites is a pain! (always a pain at wsm with onshore wind & groynes)
Once i got out to the far end of the 2nd pier which seemed miles out I blasted from there all the way up to rock the other & back again. Had some fast runs which was good fun,got bored after an or so & had a mad run downwind all the way back in, to a now packed beach- 20kiters & 15ish windsurfers.
